Design itself is a hard concept to comprehend while great design has completely illuded the large majority all together.  Fatlace has disregarded the common mistake of poor design and created something special.  Bringing together automotive, bike, and streetwear culture, the small boutique has made its mark on the urban scene and established itself as the benchmark of what a boutique should be.  The store interior is ever changing depending on seasons or events, and each and every time the layout has never failed to be amazing.  Mark Arcenal, the main man behind it all, has built up an amazing shop with a friendly staff with one of the greatest reputations; doesn’t hurt that everything Mark touches or designs seems to sells out.  Among the fresh Fatlace tee’s, the store also carries In4mation (another one of my favorite brands), HellzBellz for the ladies, and Stussy just to name a few.  Fatlace culture; illest.

Carhartt Streetwear Brand Book Volume 2

I really can’t remember the last time a brand actually put their lookbook into a printed catalog designed as well as the new brand book by Carhartt.  Volume 2’s design is just clean and I’m loving the layout, photography, and overall vibe of the very minimalistic brochure.  The book’s content includes a history on the Carhartt Heritage line, interview with Matthias Willi who photographed the images for the book, an interview with DJ Benji B, and an article on the editor of “All City Writers”.
