LITTER SF JEWELRY

Posted on 01 December 2009 by ChristinaN

BAD-ASS Accessories ….. and I LOVE IT ALL ! Litter SF is definitely way up there in my MUST have list. I have so many pairs of simple heels that I can’t put away, but get a bit bored of sometimes, but now that I can dress it up with some charm, oh hell yeah those babies are coming back out once again thanks to Litter SF’s Shoe Jewelry, not only do they make jewelry for shoes, they also have head jewelry, earrings, and body.

Skaters haven @ FTC, SF

Need a new deck? Bearings? Wheels? All your skate needs in a fresh boutique shop, and you only have to brave a bunch of hills to get there; hey the downhill ride looks fun though.  FTC is dope and that’s all there really is to it.  The staff is knowledgeable, and FTC has for a long time had the reputation of being the shop real skaters visit.  I don’t skate, but beyond the skate shop they carry a bunch of  dope brands like Stussy, Diamond, Nike, and Addidas.  They always have a few surprises like the pair of Adidas x Slap collabo kicks my boy Al was cool enough to point out.  Another limited edition I missed out on.  To be honest FTC has never been a store i’ve spent much time in but skating just hasn’t been important to me.. i’d rather be out shooting skaters than kickin it at a shop listening to how they could be better doper faster.  FTC for all your skate needs, and to snag some of those limited editions if you’re lucky.

KID ROBOT, SF

I was always pretty creeped out watching tv shows about people collecting paraphernalia, specifically toys.  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, Simpson’s, you name it, I found it weird.  Now i’m out and proud of my love for  my Muni and Yummy Breakfast collection.  Hey one day these’ll be worth a lot of money!  Kid Robot made it cool again to love toys granted I won’t be pretending their real waving them around the air making bunshot and explosion noises..  Shutup!  You know you do it too.  Whether it be my Muni collection or just tee’s and hoodies, Kid Robot has some of the freshest designs and is one of the leading underground sources making art cool, and fun!  Luckily there’s a Kid Robot in LA too so if it ever came to it I wouldn’t be missing out on any limited editions or collaborations; Junko Mizuno, Frank Kozik, Heidi Kenney (beloved creator of the Yummy Breakfast series) just to name a few collorating artists.  Oh how I sometimes wish to be 10 again playing with my ninja turtles and transfor.. errr.  Anyways, support Kid Robot!  They’re making it okay for adults to play with toys again.

FATLACE, SF

FATLACE
1630 Post St.
San Francisco, CA 94115

Design itself is a hard concept to comprehend while great design has completely illuded the large majority all together.  Fatlace has disregarded the common mistake of poor design and created something special.  Bringing together automotive, bike, and streetwear culture, the small boutique has made its mark on the urban scene and established itself as the benchmark of what a boutique should be.  The store interior is ever changing depending on seasons or events, and each and every time the layout has never failed to be amazing.  Mark Arcenal, the main man behind it all, has built up an amazing shop with a friendly staff with one of the greatest reputations; doesn’t hurt that everything Mark touches or designs seems to sells out.  Among the fresh Fatlace tee’s, the store also carries In4mation (another one of my favorite brands), HellzBellz for the ladies, and Stussy just to name a few.  Fatlace culture; illest.
