Last night I found out that Jun Seba, aka Nujabes, had passed away February 26th, 2010; the cause.. a fatal car crash. Jun Seba was one of the most innovative, talented, and humble beat makers.. in my books one of the greatest of all time. I was pretty rattled to say the least when twitter posts started showing up. At first I thought it was a joke but then it was confirmed via e22. Nujabes, you’ll be sorely missed and while the world mourns your loss, I want to take this moment to pay tribute to one of the greatest artists of all time.

Slim is in and the new trend has been Japanese denim. Typically made in Australia Imperial has moved production over to Japan to be able to work closer with the mill and factory that produce their denim. The SEXI08 is a new slim cut jeans made in collaboration with Self Edge.  The 18.5cm slim cut is made of a 15oz unsanforized denim.  Unsanforized denim is the most authentic cloth and upon first wash will shrink and cause the denim to become much lighter.  Several accents pay tribute to Imperial’s Australian, Japanese, and American connection including the leather tag and silk-screened pocket bag.  Rear pockets include embroidery with dark indigo thread and chain-stitched hems.
