Design itself is a hard concept to comprehend while great design has completely illuded the large majority all together.  Fatlace has disregarded the common mistake of poor design and created something special.  Bringing together automotive, bike, and streetwear culture, the small boutique has made its mark on the urban scene and established itself as the benchmark of what a boutique should be.  The store interior is ever changing depending on seasons or events, and each and every time the layout has never failed to be amazing.  Mark Arcenal, the main man behind it all, has built up an amazing shop with a friendly staff with one of the greatest reputations; doesn’t hurt that everything Mark touches or designs seems to sells out.  Among the fresh Fatlace tee’s, the store also carries In4mation (another one of my favorite brands), HellzBellz for the ladies, and Stussy just to name a few.  Fatlace culture; illest.

Mark Arcenal just posted up the pieces coming out for Fatlace fall 09 collection.  Take a quick look and post up what you think!  The writing is “kanji” but looks more Chinese to me, but it does say Japantown.

Fatlace recently released a new line of Fatlace New Era’s.  The standard offset lettering has been a trend for as long as I could remember but solid on solid colors never fail to look good.  Most importantly it’s Fatlace!  Check’em out at http://fatlace.com/shop/online
