Target is taking over The Standard New York to create a larger-than-life fashion show to debut Target Fall 2010 collections on August 18th @ 9:00 pm. The event is free to the public and guests are invited to experience the show live at viewing parties in the surrounding neighborhood on Little W 12th Street (between Washington Street and 10th Ave).

A total of 155 rooms and 66 dancers dressed in Target’s fall 2010 styles will perform “dazzling choreography synchronized with fast-paced lighting patterns set to an original music score” on the southern façade of The Standard. A simultaneous presentation will take place at the street level where models wearing 25 of the hottest looks from the fall Target lineup will appear in a nine-room replica stage that mirrors the windows of the hotel. If you’re not in NYC, you can watch the live-stream broadcast at Target’s Facebook page. Guests will be able to log on to Target.com following the show to pre-order select fall fashions. I think the image look’s amazing already and I’m sure this will be a fantastic event, since I will be in Vegas for the Magic Trade Show I’m gonna have to livestream it myself.

Abbey Lee Kershaw is featured in the latest fall/winter 2010 ad campaign for Japanese contemporary brand moussy, photographed by Yasutomo Ebisu. Abbey looks super cute in the curls, reminds me of a seventies look. The clothes aren’t wow and super eye appealing but I’m sure there will be more items that will look good. Via Fashion Gone Rogue

Finally Forever 21 has jumped on the bandwagon and started a collaboration with a highly known fashion designer, Brian Lichtenberg.  The drop will be set for August 13 so keep your eyes open and calendars ready because I’m sure this will go by very quick ! I can’t wait to see the entire line, I’m sure it’s gonna be pretty rad !

Stussy has teamed up with London-based Carri Mundane of Cassette Playa for a Spring/Summer 2010 capsule collection for the ladies, a first foray into women’s apparel for the brand. Best known for vibrant digital patterns across tailored shapes that are coveted by celebrities and fashion fans alike, Cassette Playa is inspired by everything from Japanese anime, neon, techno, psychedelic to rave culture, tribal, science, primitive hunting to Aztec art and back again.

The Cassette Playa x Stussy collection features graphic black and white, acid washed denim, photographic images culled from the Stussy archives, technicolor double S link logos and signature, edgy Cassette Playa prints appear across items like a blouson denim jacket, leggings, swimwear, loose tanks and accessories. The collection will be available in April 2010 on www.stussy.com.

Regardless of wanting to admit it or not, I did get a little hooked on the hills, actually even laguna beach … c’mon now, I’ve been born and raised in OC, okay no excuse, oh well. But remember America’s sweetheart Lauren Conrad, well she’s back once again, but this time with Kohl’s. Her collection is pretty cute, I’d actually wear a few of these pieces myself … What’s your guys take on this ?

Hellz is proud to present there new Spring Collection, “Obsessed with You,” a collection photographed by Brooke Nipar and modeled by Xian, that reflects an obscure view of modern fashion and the obsession that it becomes. A minimal color story reflects the theme of obsession with the main focus on the unique and simplistic details of each silhouette.  The Killa, in particular, is a cowl neck tunic given a hint of seductiveness through the use of a subtle zipper detail at the back of the dress.  An exciting new take on the traditional blazer is Coat Tailz,  which features a circle cut and a unique draped back.
