Recently Hellz held a competition open to girls rockin their limited Hellz x Reeboks. It took some convincing but I sweet talked my friend Leah into letting me shoot some photos of her for the contest! The pix came out ridiculous! Leah to me is Hellz. She idolizes the brand and it’s amazing to see how dedicated she is and how much she loves the brand. I thought I loved Hellz (being a guy I know that’s a little weird) but man.. she LOVES Hellz. It didn’t surprise me that she was made a finalist but it just made me happy to see how excited she was to make the final cut. The funny thing is she never even expected to be noticed and it made me happy to see her bursting with happiness and excitement when she found herself on the list.
Anyways, if you get a chance, drop a comment on the Hellz blog and vote for whoever you feel is stylin the best reppin Hellz!

Without her usual bizarre outfits & eye-popping headgear, it’s hard to tell that this is Lady Gaga at all. It’s nice to finally see Lady Gaga with a lighter touch to herself. Softer make-up, voluptuous blonde curls, a definite refreshing look that still gives off Romance. She’s a normal person just like everyone one of us, just with a more eclectic side to herself. She states, “In eight to 10 years, I want to have babies for my Dad to hold, grand-kids. And I want to have a husband who loves and supports me, just the way anyone else does. I would never leave my career for a man right now, and I would never follow a man around.” Personally, I’m all for Gaga, I think she’s pretty awesome, especially the way she expresses herself, she really doesn’t give a fcuk what others think, that’s how it should be. Hope you enjoy these fabulous photos of her !

Everybody who knows me knows how much I hate the new generation of “photographers” flooding the world. With digital SLR’s i’m glad the medium is reaching a broader population, but the lack of education creates lack luster individuals who think that because they understand f/stop and shutter speed that they’re automatically labeled a photographer. While I have no idea what the sole purpose of Art Pants is, two of my friends (Will Roegge and Linhberg Nguyen) have created a revolutionary website/blog. The site contains photos they take on a daily basis, but rather than using crappy cell phone photos, they’ve gone full out showing people the extent of the capabilities of their Canon 5D’s and whatever other mediums they may use. Both are ridiculously talented and while I never say this enough (for good reason) the two are gifted individual and I respect both in the field of film and photography. Make sure you take a look at their site and follow on a regular basis because my prediction is you’ll be blown away over and over again by the images these two put out. [ www.artpants.com ]

So i’m planning on doing a new section for Art of Clean where basically i’ll just be shooting some photos here and there of local hot spots I end up going to. For the first one I introduce to you, the Original Pantry Cafe, or Pantry for short. It’s located on the corner of 8th and Figueroa in downtown LA. This place is just like Denny’s, but 100x better! It hasn’t closed a day since it opened in 1924, and in 1950 they moved to their current location. Anyways, it’s definitely a great place to check out. Click the image to see the hi-res image which will fit perfectly on any computers running dual monitor and 1920x”"”" resolution.
